We've come to the Outer Banks twice and stayed at my friend, Colleen's, beachhouse - once in 2003 and then last fall we were here for a wedding. Here are some pictures
This is 2003 - Ella was 7 months old and learned to crawl on this trip
These were last November ('07) and we arrived during a tropical storm - the next day it cleared up and was very nice out.
It's really cool to see the differences in the beach - both during the same trip and then looking back at different pictures over these other trips. tomorrow there should be quite a change in the beach after all the rain today - there was a big shelf developing.

we love the OBX! luckily we took our trip early this summer before anna's arrival!! roanoke island was very cool.
Awesome updates!!! Cannot believe the little diva was willing to go in rain crab hunting.
